Kelley Howe, Occupational Therapist
I began my journey toward InterPLAY Learning Academy as a recreation therapist working in a community of adults with autism. My time in this community gave me a great interest in Occupational Therapy and opened my heart to the autism population. I went on to get my Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee. While pursuing my degree, I had the opportunity to complete an internship with Dana L. Johnson Pediatric Therapy Services. Under Dana’s guidance, I gained valuable experience using the DIR/Floortime model with children with varying diagnoses. I have recently relocated from Tennessee to the Tampa Bay area to continue my work in pediatric occupational therapy and at InterPLAY Learning Academy.
